Listen to your
people who cry out to you.
Ignite the spark of
new energy within us.
Help us to support
one another,
with special care
for our children, our poor, our elderly.
Protect our medical
personnel, our emergency
workers, our
extended communities and
your people around our planet-home.
Give wisdom to our
leaders.
Come to our aid. Comfort
the dying.
Embrace the grieving.
Transform our
hearts,
that our lives may gift others and give you

ReplyDeleteDear Sister thank you for this beautifully stated powerful prayer. I wonder if there could be a space in which we could gather to say this together, a shout of prayer to God, and feel the warmth of it between ourselves, deep and strong, a healing. I thought of the native peoples of the Americas. I thought of the ancient peoples of Japan and Korea and Taiwan and the Philippines, Vietnam, the coast of China, the ancient peoples of Hawaii and the Pacific, the ancient peoples of the Northern rim. Thank you God, great Spirit, great Power, great Love source, your Love pour forth out of the sky upon us, thank you, amen. God bless OSB amen Happy Easter soon.
